Dharani USA, Inc. is the United States-based fundraising organization for The Institute of Geographical Studies (TIGS) located in Bangalore, India. (TIGS was formerly known as The Indian Institute of Geographical Studies (TIIGS).)

Geography helps us make sense of this complex world. Environmental scientist, marketing executive, pilot, military expert, map-maker, teacher, writer, worker for social justice... whatever your career goal is, geography is vital. It’s also fun! TIGS Mission:

Deliver an empowering geography education to equip K-12 students to be 21st century citizens of the world through a variety of innovative engagements in formal institutions and at our non-formal GeoVidyaa Geography Centers (GVGCs).

We aim to provide transformational geography education through fostering the development of critical knowledge, critical understanding, and critical skills.

We engage with students, teachers, and other geography enthusiasts towards this mission.
